Win was a snip

HAIR stylists are grinning after winning a top award for their work in the community.

Staff from Smile Hair in High Street, Ascot, collected the trophy for the UK's most wanted local salon at a hairdressing industry competition on Monday.

Penny Etheridge and her team beat salons from all over the country in the award which recognises the work they do in the community, including supporting local causes.

The award was presented by TV funny man Justin Lee Collins. Penny, pictured left with Justin, said: "My team works tirelessly to be an important part of our local community and raise as much money as we can for local charities.

"I am honoured that we have been given this award in recognition for all the hard my team puts in when they come into the salon."
