Just after 3.30am, a crew from Bracknell was alerted by a neighbour to a burning car in Simons Wood car park, off Wellingtonia Road in Crowthorne.

Watch manager Liza Lacey said: “We think it was set on fire on purpose. It was completely burnt out.”

There were no occupants of the Mitsubushi Shogun, which was completely destroyed.

The crew spent around an hour at scene, before handing over to police.
