PUPILS from a Sandhurst school will be delving into history with a World War Two production.

Eagle House School presents 'The Vackees’, featuring 112 children from telling the story of Kip, who is moved from London to Somerset in 1939.

Oscar Heal, 11, who plays Kip, said: “I love being in this show. Not only is the acting good but the singing and dancing really add to the show. I hope the audience enjoy it. It has been hard work but it has been fun too.’ Showing at the Wilde Theatre in South Hill Park, Ringmead, on Tuesday March 25 and Wednesday March 26.

Andrew Barnard, Headmaster, said: “This will be a tremendous experience for our pupils and all children have learnt a lot about WW2. Many children have brought in photos of grandparents who were evacuated and other relatives involved in the war. These will be on display at the theatre.” Professional musicians, led by Carl Davis, will produce the music for the show.

Tickets cost £14, and can be obtained from http://www.southhillpark.org.uk/
