A documentary about Broadmoor Hospital and some of its notorious inmates is due to be screened to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
A documentary is due to be aired on Channel Five on Monday, September 30, at 9pm, and will include Gordon Lowe, who is the author of 'Escape from Broadmoor: The Trials and Strangulations of John Thomas Straffen’.
Published earlier this year, it delves into the life of Britain’s longest serving prisoner, John Straffen.
Taking Mr Lowe just over a year to write, 'Escape from Broadmoor’ delves into the life of a man who he believes killed just to annoy police.
