A TEENAGE boy was left in hospital with gunshot wounds after an incident police described as an attempted murder.
A pair of suspects, a 40-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, are currently in custody for questioning after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 16-year-old boy has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, and he remains in custody.
Police were called to Hearsey Gardens, Blackwater, Hampshire, at 2.56pm on Saturday where they found the teenager with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition, according to Hampshire police.
Chief Inspector Matt Reeves said: "This was a very serious incident which has left a young man in hospital."
A force spokesman said: "Detectives are keen to identify any witnesses to establish the exact circumstances and the events leading up to this incident."
