CHRISTMAS may still be two months away, but one festive event will be taking place at the end of this month.
The Crowthorne & Wokingham District branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is holding its Christmas fair on October 28 at the COATS centre, Pinewood Avenue.
Stalls selling Christmas cards, calendars, diaries, books, homemade cakes, preserves, plants, handmade gifts, woodworking and a piniata will all be at the fayre.
There will also be a raffle, and refreshments will be available for those in attendance.
For children, a competition to name a teddy bear will be going on, as well as a tombola and lucky dip.
Funds raised at the fair will be going towards Muscular Dystrophy UK, Therapy Dogs Nationwide, Compassion in World Farming, Mind for better mental health, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Coats, and Crowthorne Cof E School's after school club.
There may even be an appearance from Father Christmas before the busy festive period begins, but this is still to be confirmed.
