ARCHITECTS behind a refurbished office space in the centre of Reading have won an award for their designs.
The office at 9 Greyfriars won the Refurbishment/Recycled work space award for the South of England in the British Council of Offices awards.
Barton Wilmore's design for the 41,000 sqft space making it one of the most sustainable and cost-effective buildings in the south.
Romy Panesar, Architectural Associate in Barton Willmore’s Reading team said: “We’re delighted that this project has been recognised by the British Council of Offices, for the high quality refurbishment, amongst some innovative competition.
"In such a fantastic location in the centre of Reading, it’s great to see the workplace come to life once more, with flexible working space and facilities which sit within a truly sustainable building."
The building will now be entered into the national final in October.
