Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Bracknell.

At 1.20am on Saturday January 17. The victims, a 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, were walking in Market Street close to the junction of Station Road when they were approached by a group of three men and one woman.

The group then assaulted the victims; the woman was punched to her right eye and the man was kicked several times to his head.

The offenders stole a clutch bag from the woman which contained a bank card, a quantity of cash, keys and a mobile phone. The bank card and bag have since been recovered from near the scene.

The offenders are aged between 19 and 24 years. The woman was short and was wearing dark clothing. No further description of the offenders is currently available.

The victims attended Frimley Park Hospital with minor injuries. They have since been discharged.

Investigating officer, PC Steven Norris from Bracknell police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this robbery or who saw a group of people in the area of the incident at around the time.
