Bracknell Forest Council's fleet of gritters will be salting all of the borough's primary routes and town centre walkways and paths from 7pm.
Overnight tonight the Met Office has predicted temperatures will plummet below freezing, with the lowest temperature expected to be -3°C.
The Met Office has also issued a yellow alert, warning those with young children or the elderly not to spend prolonged periods out in the cold weather.
Snow is also forecast for the town on Wednesday, with light snow and sleet predicted to fall intermittently between 6am and 6pm.
