Bentalls in Princess Square has set up 16 different window displays – four large and 12 smaller displays – packed full of goodies, and the store is offering people the chance to win one of the displays.

The displays each contain a set of different prizes, ranging from Cath Kidston accessories, crockery and clothes to a household collection containing a dining table, chairs, a cutlery set and glassware.

Clothes, watches, jewellery, luxury pens, luxury bags and scarves are all also featured in the windows as part of the grand competition.

Youngsters won’t be disappointed either as one of the larger windows will be crammed full of Lego models, while other windows will contain goodies such as My Little Pony and a mechanical dog.

Craig Strugnell, the store’s director, said he believed the competition was unique to Bracknell and he had not seen it done anywhere else.

He said: “This is a really exciting competition and not something we have done as a store before. It’s not a corporate idea – it is unique to Bracknell and, even if it has been done before, I have not seen it anywhere myself.

“There are some great prizes to be won and a wide range on offer so there is something for all the family. Everything is free and it’s all great Christmas products. I’m hoping it will make the winners’ Christmases extra special and I think we are truly embracing the Christmas spirit.” In order to take part in the competition, entrants, who must be aged 18 or over, will have to visit the store and pick up a leaflet from the customer service desk. After filling it out, there is a post box next to the desk where customers can post their entries.

Entrants cannot choose which one of the windows they would like to win, but will be entered to win any one of them.

The deadline for entries is Friday, December 19, with the winners being randomly picked on Saturday, December 20. Winners will then be notified and can either pick the items up instore or get them delivered to them.
