Thames Valley Police’s Special Constabulary carried out a number of warrants at the weekend as a pre-planned day of action to bring offenders to justice that have failed to turn up at court. Operation Reaper involved over 150 Special Constables executing a number of outstanding arrest warrants across the Thames Valley on Sunday, which resulted in the arrest of two men from Bracknell and one from Ascot.
A 41-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested for failing to appear at court on suspicion of assault and drug possession.
A 25-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested for failing to appear at court on suspicion of fail to attend/remain for follow-up assessment following a test for presence of Class A drug.
A 20-year-old man from Ascot was arrested for failing to appear at court on suspicion of criminal damage.
Chief Officer Mark Hinks said: “I would like to thank all my officers who gave up their Sunday to support Operation Reaper.
"The operation has been a success with many arrests, but also just as importantly with lots of valuable intelligence sourced and recorded."
