Visitors enjoyed pass-the-parcel, birthday card making, adult puzzles and iced birthday biscuits at at the celebrations for Sandhurst Library, The Broadway, last Thursday.
Library supervisor Helen Snow said: “The festivities lasted all day and we had a birthday theme for cake making and story telling.” Mayor of Bracknell Cllr Alan Kendall and Mayor of Sandhurst Cllr Pauline McKenzie attended the party to help with judging. Sandhurst councillor Michael Brossard was also a guest.
Mrs Linda Rose, of Sandhurst, won the 'star bake’ contest with her masterpiece depicting 30 miniature books on top of a cake.
