Heritage Open Days across the region start from tomorrow (Thursday) until Sunday, September 14.
Familes will celebrate nature’s history and architecture in guided walks, while others can study 'Grandad’s War’ in the form of First World War memorabilia and music as well as Bronze Age burial mounds.
The historic grounds of South Hill Park Mansions, Bracknell, will open from 3-4pm tomorrow.
Visitors meet at the mansion’s main entrance.
Cash for restoration has been provided by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The mansion was built in 1760 for William Watts and rebuilt in the 1890s to Temple Moore’s design for Sir Arthur Hayter.
There will be a tour of the mansion from 4.30-5.30pm.
