Evie Shallom, eight, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma earlier this year.
She has since raised thousands of pounds for The Princess Trust, which provides real-hair wigs for youngsters who have suffered hair loss after cancer treatment.
Members of Sandhurst Cricket Club decided brave Evie deserves a treat for all her hard work, and raised £200 through donations after shaving their hair off. Chris Whitoak, Ed Batchelor, Simon Coxwell and Adam Birch took on the hair-raising feat on Sunday.
Mr Coxwell said: “It was after a club day we all decided to do something for Evie, so the four of us had our head shaved.
“She has raised so much for charity, so we’ve raised money for her to go and enjoy a day out and buy sweets and get a Nando’s, stuff like that.”
Evie, from The Oaks in Bracknell, has been in and out of hospital for treatment throughout the year, but she and her family have still managed to organise fun days and fundraising events in aid of charity.
