Generous students and staff at Bracknell and Wokingham College put on a series of events at the start of May for their RAG (raising and giving) week.

As a result of all of the efforts, representatives from Daisy’s Dream and Guide Dogs for the Blind came to the Church Road Centre on Wednesday last week to be presented with cheques which totalled more than £2,100.

The causes were chosen for the work they both do in the Bracknell and Wokingham communities.

Events during the week ranged from a bake-off challenge and a car pull to an Everest stair climb and a The Voice-style contest.
