The ‘King’s Crown’ was supposed to arrive at Appldedore Dental Clinic, in Forest Road, Binfield, on Thursday last week.

Instead, it ended up in Dundee after a courier error, and the surgery received a box of dental equipment meant for the Isle of Wight.

After the confusion was identified, the tooth finally made it to the surgery, where they are giving free mouth cancer checks.

Fed-Ex has now sent an apology to the clinic, along with a selection box of tea, coffee and spa treatments.

Dr Teresa Day said: “A lovely parcel containing unusual tea, coffee and spa products arrived at Appledore today with apologies from Fed Ex.”
