Three toe tapping youngsters pulled all the right moves at a national contest

THREE young dancers starred in a national competition.

Amelia Stead, Millie McDonagh and Paige Wateridge, from the EntertainArts School, enjoyed success in a national competition.

Millie McDonagh, Paige Wateridge and Amelia Stead – who all train at EntertainArts School of Dance and Performing Arts in Bracknell and Crowthorne – competed in the National British Arts Competition finals at the Polish Theatre, in London.

Millie, eight, made the finals in the eight-10 years section in her ballet and modern solos. She finished third in her modern solo and second in her ballet solo as well as being awarded first place as the overall all-rounder.

Twelve-year-old Paige competed in the 11-14 years section in her ballet solo where she was third and the same position as the overall all rounder.

Amelia , 13, also competed in the 11-14 years section where she was second in her ballet solo and third in her modern solo. She was in second place as the overall all-rounder.

Paige and Amelia also competed in the modern duet section where they finished second.

The school also had a team dance and they will find out this week where they were placed.
