The 16-year-old, who suffers from a terminal congenital heart disease, performed at the Royal Albert Hall alongside stars including Olly Murs, Professor Green, Alesha Dixon and Pixie Lott.

At the event on Sunday, May 4, he was also able to sing with Aston Merrygold, formerly with JLS, which was Charlie’s favourite band – on May 4.

Charlie, from Bullbrook, was part of The Rays of Sunshine Abbey Road Choir – which is made up of 20 inspiring children – which performed at the famous auditorium.

The group also did something most musicians only dream of when they attended a special recording of the song 'Bring me Sunshine’ at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. The track was recorded for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity – which brightens up the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 in the UK by granting wishes.
