Thousands of residents attend May fairs in Wokingham, Crowthorne and Winkfield

MORE than 25,000 people spent the bank holiday visiting May fairs in Wokingham, Crowthorne and Winkfield.

Live music, inflatables, ferret racing and a huge range of stalls littered Elms Field, Denmark Street, Market Place and Erftstadt Court in Wokingham for its annual May Fayre.

A petting zoo, penalty shoot-out and several stalls were among the things on offer at Winkfield's May fair at Carnation Hall, while youngsters could enjoy miniature train rides, an inflatable obstacle course and stalls at the Morgan Recreation Ground in Crowthorne.
