TOPAZ proved to be the jewel in the crown of apprentices as she clinched a national award.

Topaz Bradley, 24, from Easthampstead, came top of the class in the 24-and older category.

Single mum Ms Bradley, who has a little boy, Hayden aged five, has worked at Bracknell recruitment company Alexander Mann Solutions, based at Western Road, since last year.

Ms Bradley was put forward for an annual award – run by training company Business Impact UK Ltd – by her mentor Libby Way.

Ms Way said: “Topaz has an infectious personality, her dedication and passion are something that we all could learn from.

“Despite being a mum, Topaz is also happy to go the extra mile and recently helped us by working weekends and evenings to implement an important data load. “Topaz also strives to be the best and will always go the extra mile to please everyone.” Winning an i-Pad mini, a trophy and certificate Ms Bradley commented on her win, saying: “I am extremely pleased to have been given this fantastic award having come from a retail background with no recruitment experience.

“It just proves with hard work and determination you can achieve anything and I am looking forward to a long and successful career with Alexander Mann Solutions.”
