The project is a system which allows people to swap favours from making an apple pie to fixing someone's computer to lifts to the shops.
Exchanges are conducted using a fictional currency, known as 'bricks'. The going rate is 20 bricks per hour's work, which members can use to spend by taking up other people's favours.
Its 20th anniversary celebrations will take place at Jennett's Park Community Centre in Tawny Owl Square on Sunday from 10am-1pm.
