Police believe the offender, or offenders, broke into the pub between 11.30pm on Saturday and 11.35am on Sunday morning while it was closed.
Cash and bank cards were stolen after ransacking the Horndean Road pub.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the burglary. Anyone with information should call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
