Do you have room in your life for a shy but friendly feline?

Katie is a female shorthaired ginger cat, approximately two years old. She has been in the care of Cats Protection since October and is extremely shy and timid.

Lynne Pothecary, publicity officer for the Bracknell and Wokingham districts branch of Cats Protection, said: “Katie is extremely pretty, and will need an extremely understanding home where she can be left to get to know where she is and to trust everything around her.

“She now accepts her host family, but the slightest thing out of the ordinary and she darts away and hides.

“Katie is not feral, just extremely shy.

“If you are understanding and very patient, and can offer Katie the loving home that she needs, then please contact us.”

Katie now comes and sits with the family that’s caring for her and has a favourite toy which is a bouncy ball.

If you think you can offer Katie the home she needs, please contact the branch on 0845 371 4212, or email the branch coordinator on readingeastcp@hotmail.com
