Union J star Josh Cuthbert and his bandmates are on the ball to support Sport Relief

POP sensation Josh Cuthbert and his Union J bandmates have thrown their support behind this year’s Sport Relief campaign.

Winkfield lad Josh has helped recreate the iconic image of England’s 1966 World Cup win to showcase the launch of the official Sport Relief T-shirts, which are available in selected Sainsbury’s stores.

Sporting the official

headband and red Fairtrade T-shirt in place of the England team’s 1966 football kit, the band were on top of their game at a photoshoot, with Josh clutching the World Cup trophy triumphantly in the air.

Josh, who went to Charters School in Sunningdale said: “We’ve had an amazing time on the shoot. It’s not everyday you get to recreate an iconic image from English sporting history, especially with the World Cup so close!

“Everyone should get involved and join in the fun – simply grab your gear and sign up for the Sport Relief Games at sportrelief.com.”

This is the first time the band has been involved with Sport Relief – the charity which brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives – and this shot shows just how much they got into the team spirit.

The official Sport Relief headband, T-shirt and all-in-one are available from Sainsbury’s – with a donation from each sale going directly to help transform the lives of some of the most poorest and disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world.
