A CONSULTATION on the future of a scheme which supports disabled children will be launched later this year.

Members of Bracknell Forest Council’s executive committee voted in favour of potentially slashing £120,000-a-year from its Aiming High budget.

The service helps provide holiday schemes and weekend clubs for disabled youngsters, as well as grants to carers.

The executive backed plans to cut the budget from £375,000 this financial year to £255,000 for 2015.16.

The public consultation will involve parents, carers, youngsters, voluntary organisations and providers.
