Four-year-old boy survives 15-foot-fall at John Nike Leisure centre during Bracknell Bees ice hockey game against Basingstoke Bison

A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy was "very, very lucky" to emerge unharmed after falling 15 feet at an ice hockey game.

The youngster fell from the upper tier at the John Nike Leisure centre during yesterday's game between Bracknell Bees and Basingstoke Bison.

Police and an ambulance crew were called to the scene shortly before 7.30pm.

The boy was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for a precautionary check.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance described the boy as "very, very lucky" to have avoided injury.
