MORE than £1,000 of taxpayers’ money was spent paying for First Class rail travel for Bracknell Forest council’s chief executive in just 12 months.
A Freedom of Information request by the News for council credit card expenditure revealed Tim Wheadon – who earns up to £156,000 a year – made 12 train trips to London between April 2012 and March 2013, costing from £66.50-£109 each.
