OLDER residents can stay fit and healthy by joining the Bracknell Active Retired Association.

Among the activities is a line dancing session every Tuesday morning, led by Peter Kingsbury, 92.

The club also has further sessions from 9.30am until noon on Thursday mornings.

Among the events are contract whist, a quiz, bingo, line dancing tuition and art classes. The group also has raffles, sales tables and the chance to have a chat and coffee. The friendly club has met for 40 years at Coopers Hill Centre, in Crowthorne Road North, and is open to all over 50s. Present members are aged from their early 60s to 94.

Membership costs £15 per half year or people can pay £1.50 for an individual session. New members are always welcome. Phone Jacqui Brown 01344 447424 or Lynn Crossley 01344 827280 for more information or just turn up.
