FAMILIES in need say their “dreams have come true” after readers responded to The News’s Toys and Tins Appeal in record-breaking fashion.
A Christmas party took place at the Kerith Community Church - our partners in the campaign - on Saturday, and guests paid tribute to everyone who donated.
More than 300 people went to the party, including more than 150 children, where church workers were on hand to dish out the toys.
