FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Nuthurst, in Crown Wood, last night.
A crew from Bracknell fire station arrived at the scene at about 8.30pm, but the people living at the house had already extinguished the fire.
The blaze was stated by a dishwasher catching fire, but the occupants used a dry powder extinguisher to put it out.
Firefighters used thermal imaging equipment to check there was no chance of the fire reigniting behind the kitchen units before leaving.
