The Finchampstead-based company was selected from more than 230 entries and will discover if it has won on Tuesday, November 19.
Courtney’s office manager, Mandy Coles, said: “This is really exciting news for us. Just to be nominated is an honour but to be short listed a great achievement.
“It is all about teamwork so I am pleased for all of our staff. Our company ethos is 'Driven By Service’ and I believe this is one of the reasons we have won a place on the short list.
The company employs 83 staff and has a fleet of 35 buses running public services in Bracknell, Henley, Maidenhead and Windsor, as well as school buses, a number of park and ride schemes and shuttle services to business parks.
Ms Coles said: “We always strive to provide a first-class service for our customers in Bracknell and this shows that we are succeeding. However, we will not rest but continue to listen to our customers and improve our operation further.”
The awards are considered the premier event in the industry in the UK.
The company’s founder and managing director, Bill Courtney-Smith, said: “This is a great compliment to our business and our staff. This year we celebrate out 40th anniversary so this will give us a reason for a double celebration.”
