The café previously based in Broadway, Bracknell, opened at Great Hollands Square, after it was forced to close in May due to the demolition of that part of the town centre.
Many of its loyal customers were delighted after it finally found a new home, after months of uncertainty.
Terry Pearce, one of the voluntary directors of the café said: “It went very well, we had a stream of customers including some new ones, it seemed very popular. At the moment it’s for the over 50s, but at the end of the month we are going to review the situation. We will see whether perhaps we can open at other times for other groups, there’s lots of mum and toddler groups around.”
He added it had been a rollercoaster of a few months while they tried to find a new venue, and were delighted when the space at Great Hollands came up.
Mr Pearce added: “It’s almost perfect for us, lots of shops and buses, and a car park.”
