AN OPEN verdict has been recorded into the death of a young Bracknell woman who had a fatal fall at a Christmas party.

Danielle Cooke died at a Christmas party at the Millenium Madejski Hotel.

At an inquest held at Guildhall Windsor today (Thursday), Berkshire coroner Peter Bedford said there were three possibilities for the cause of Danielle Cooke's death: suicide, accident or third party involvement. However, he stressed there was no evidence to suggest the last possibility, that someone else was involved.

Danielle, 22, was at a work party at the Millenium Madejski Hotel - which backs onto Reading Football Club's home ground - on December 21, when she fell down a staircase.

She was from Claverdon, in Birch Hill, and worked at Atkinson & Keene estate agents, in Maidenhead.
