Serious assault in Crown Wood - woman charged with attempted murder

A MIDDLE-aged man is in 'critical condition' after suffering serious 'puncture' injuries in a vicious Crown Wood assault on Thursday.
Emergency services rushed to Loughborough, in Bracknell, on Thursday night, where the victim - a man in his 50s - was discovered outside a property with puncture wounds.
Francine Rodrigues, spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said that officers are not calling the incident a stabbing as it is "not clear" what type of weapon was used.
The victim has been transferred from the Royal Berkshire Hospital to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 36-year-old woman from Bracknell was charged with attempted murder today (Saturday) and appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
