TWO men have been remanded in custody after being charged with conspiring to sell Class A drugs.
Crowthorne business man and former Bracknell Bees player Adam Greener, 31, of Walnut Close, Yately, was arrested on Wednesday, March 6, alongside Aurelio David Bellamy, 45, of Carnoustie in Great Hollands.
The arrests came after Hampshire Police undertook a cross-border raid on the same day, targeting homes in Priestwood, Great Hollands and Yateley, as well as a business in Crowthorne.
Officers confiscated a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine.
The pair appeared at Winchester Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday) where they were detained in custody until a plea and case management hearing on Thursday, May 14.
Mr Greener owns Puck-A-Pizza - also known as Puck-A-Grub - in Crowthorne High Street and used to play for the Bracknell Bees before switching to rival team the Slough Jets for the 2009/10 season.
