Ascot residents stuck in lift

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a group of residents trapped in a lift this morning.
The crew from Bracknell station went to a block of flats in Windsor Road, Ascot, around 10.30am.
They used a master key to open the doors of the broken-down lift and spent 20 minutes getting the people, including two young children, out safely.
No-one was hurt.
