ONE lane in a part of London Road will be closed until the beginning of March.
Work began on the busy stretch of dual carriageway from the road's junction with John Nike Way and the A329M roundabout yesterday (Wednesday) - causing heavy traffic and delays of around 20 minutes for commuters heading towards the roundabout.
Vicki Judd, spokeswoman for Bracknell Forest Council, said the cross-boundary water mains replacement work is "essential".
Motorists are advised to join the A329M at Twin Bridges to avoid delays.
