RUMOURS that Windsor's MP is planning to overthrow David Cameron with a Conservative leadership bid have been quashed.
Tory MP Adam Afriyie - who covers Ascot, Binfield and Warfield - denied the claims, insisting he is 100% behind the Prime Minister, but added: "It is of course flattering to have the support of colleagues."
Reports emerged in the Sunday national newspapers, suggesting Mr Afriyie could be a Conservative candidate if the party loses the 2015 election and Mr Cameron resigns as leader.
