POLICE officers and licensees have joined forces to tackle rowdy punters over the festive period.

All pubs and clubs in Bracknell Forest subscribe to the 'banned from one, banned from all' policy laid out by Pub Watch. This means that anyone caught taking or dealing drugs, or being anti-social, will not only reported to the police, but is likely to be banned from the 65 licensed premises across the borough.

Inspector Jon Goosey, deputy police commander for the borough, is working with Pub Watch to enforce the scheme and operate a zero tolerance policy and said: "It is fantastic that licence holders work together in this way.

"Pub Watch is a great initiative as it means that everyone can work together to ensure that drinking in licensed premises in Bracknell remains safe and enjoyable."
