Woman taken to hospital after motorway smash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries after the car she was travelling in collided with a lorry today (Thursday).
The male drivers of the Renault Clio and the lorry were unharmed after the smash on the M4 eastbound between junction 10 and junction 8/9.
Firefighters from Wokingham and Wokingham Road attended at 1.53pm and cut the female passenger free from the Clio.
The crews were there for one hour and one lane was closed during that time.
