COMMUNITIES are preparing to mark The Queen's 60 year reign with street parties across Berkshire.
Wokingham Borough Council has received 34 licence applications for street parties and Bracknell Forest Council has received 20 applications for Diamond Jubilee events.
Yvonne Buckley is organising a party for Herondale, in Birch Hill, on Tuesday, June 5. There will be a barbecue, bouncy castle, live music and other entertainment for residents.
The 70-year-old said: "We just thought it was a great idea to celebrate The Queen's Jubilee - I won't see it again in my lifetime.
