THERE are only a few spaces left for a business meeting about the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.

The Bigger Bracknell Debate will feature speakers from Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, developer Legal and General and Bracknell Forest Council plus Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee.

And demand for tickets to the debate is high, with 37 out of the 50 places at the event already booked.

The lunchtime event on Friday [18] next week is being organised by Richard Knight, chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) in East Berkshire; Amanda Gee, managing director of the Midweek's publisher, Berkshire Media Group, and Helen Barnett, marketing manager of Bracknell Regen-eration Partnership (BRP).

Mr Knight said: "The whole idea of putting the meeting together is to give people the opportunity to ask questions and talk to people involved in the regeneration."

The Bigger Bracknell Debate will include presentations from Dr Lee on his visions for Bracknell; Simon Russian, from Legal and General, one of the companies behind the regeneration; and Ms Barnett from BRP.

It will run from noon-2pm on Friday [18] next week on the 12th floor of Ocean House in The Ring, Bracknell town centre. It is free to attend and a light lunch will be provided.

Sign up by visiting www.fsb.org.uk/thamesvalley then clicking on "events" then "Bigger Bracknell Debate".

Those who have already confirmed attendance are encouraged to submit questions in advance to try to ensure they can be covered. Email Mr Knight via richard@focal.co.uk
