A BRACKNELL man has been named as the motorcyclist who died after his bike hit a deer in Binfield.

Thomas Tilley, known as Tom, from Kenton Close near the town centre, was riding his red Kawasaki motorcycle in Church Lane at 5.20pm on Sunday when he collided with the animal, losing control of his bike and veering off the road.

Paramedics attended the incident but the 53-year-old mechanic was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.

Sgt Justin Thomas said: "I would like to speak to anyone who was travelling along the road who may have seen the collision.

"The collision happened just past the junction of Ryehurst Lane and the bike was travelling in the direction of Bracknell." Anyone with information should contact Sgt Thomas via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
