TWO men were assaulted and robbed of the car they were sat in by a pair of thieves.

The two victims, both in their twenties, were in their parked Vauxhall Vectra in Earlswood, Hanworth, when they were attacked at 10.40pm on Tuesday last week.

One of them sustained facial injuries and received hospital treatment and the other man was uninjured.

PC Mark Ginn, investigating officer, said: "Thankfully incidents of this nature are rare in Bracknell. I'd like to reassure people that we are doing all we can to find those responsible." The assailants are both white and in their mid-twenties.

One is 6ft, of medium build, with short brown hair that was combed forward with wet looking gel. He was wearing a navy blue tracksuit top and bottoms with white stripes down the sleeves and legs and leather gloves.

The other is 5ft 11ins, slim, with short dark brown hair that was combed forward. He was wearing a cream jumper, dark trousers and gloves.

The car was recovered in the Birch Hill area.
