RECYCLED fashion will be the centre of attention as young designers show off their creative talents.
Members of Missed Out, the youth group at South Hill Park, were busy making final preparations and alterations to clothing that will be modelled on Saturday at Bracknell"s biggest outdoor festival.
The group has been using unwanted clothes from the RE3 recycling facility in Bracknell to revamp old fashioned clothing into something modern they would wear.
Organiser Chantal Addley said: 'We have been working on the project for the past few months and it is amazing to see how everyone has come on and progressed.
'Some of our members didn"t have a clue how to sew and all of them can now. We are really looking forward to showing off our creations on Saturday. It should be amazing.'
The designs for both men and women will be worn on the catwalk in a fashion show at Big Day Out
As well as the fashion show, on the day visitors will be able to bring in their clothing for the group to revamp. Amy Owen, who lives in Bracknell, became a member of Missed Out after moving to the area from Croydon.
The 18-year-old said: 'I wanted to make new friends and this seemed the perfect way to do that.
'I love being a member and I"m really looking forward to the fashion show.
'It should be great fun for us and for people watching.'
There will also be a 'Ready, Steady Revamp' competition when two designers will be given a model and bag of clothes and will have 20 minutes to come up with a fashionable creation.
Jamie Fidler, 16, from Harmans Water, has been a member of the project for the past six months.
He said: 'It is such fun being involved in the project and it has really shaped my creativity.
'The only part I"m a bit nervous about is actually walking up and down the catwalk but it should be a laugh.'
