A 35-year-old man has been arrested after more than 30,000 pills were seized by police.

Thames Valley Police officers in Bracknell Central North's neighbourhood teams made the astonishing discovery on Saturday.

The team posted a photo of the three bags containing more than 30,000 pills on social media.

The tweet, posted by @TVP_Bracknell in response to a tweet by @TVP_Slough, said: "We'll see your large bag of cannabis and raise you Bracknell Central North Neighbourhood Teams achievements for the day....3 large bags with in excess of 30,000 pills that have tested positive for traces of Amphetamine!!"

The pills were tested and revealed traces of amphetamines.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "A 35 year old male from Bracknell has been arrested on suspicion of importing a psychoactive substance, supplying a psychoactive substance and later, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug. He has been released under investigation for forensic analysis of the various evidence seized."
