A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with three counts of sexual assault.

The 15-year-old boy from Bracknell, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denied the charges at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday May 17.

He stood accused of groping a schoolgirl, who was herself just 16, in Slough earlier this year.

He appeared at court with his father, and was dressed in an all-black suit with an overcoat on.

The incidents all occurred in Slough between January 1 and March 14.

The boy will return to Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday July 4, his defence solicitor argued that he could not appear earlier due to GCSE exams, which District Judge Nachhar agreed with.

Defence solicitor Ms Hemmings said: "My client will be unable to appear at court in June due to his GCSE exams."

District Judge Nachhar said: "You will appear back at this court on July 4 at 9.30am"
