A MAN was arrested and quizzed by officers after a schoolgirl was grabbed by the shorts and sexually assaulted outside a primary school.
The 14-year-old victim was stood outside Great Hollands Primary School at 8pm.
She was on the phone when she was approached by a man who asked her for the time.
The attacker followed the girl before grabbing her by the front of her shorts and inappropriately touching her between her legs over her clothing.
She screamed at him to let her go, and he ran away towards the Great Hollands Shops.
Officers investigating the case have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He has now been released under investigation.
A police spokesman said: "The incident occurred at around 8pm on Monday, May 7, when the victim, a 14-year-old girl, was touched inappropriately over her clothing.
"A 23-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female and released under investigation.
"Anybody who may have witnessed the incident are asked to contact 101, quoting reference number 43180144320.
"If you have any information relating to this case, please call 101 quoting reference '43180144320', or contact Crimestoppers anonymously."
