A CHARITY football match in aid of a Bracknell schoolboy will take place this Friday.

Students from Bracknell & Wokingham College, employees from Avis car hire and Bracknell police officers will join parents of pupils at Holly Spring Junior School to take part in the tournament at Bracknell Town Football Club.

Proceeds from the tournament will go towards the charity Moving Muscles for Marcus, which raises funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK in support of eight-year-old Holly Spring pupil Marcus Rooks, who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy in July 2016.

Teams of seven, with two substitutes, will take part in the tournament for an entry fee of £5 per player, meaning at least £200 will be raised on the night.

Spectators are welcome to watch and lend their support to the teams. The fun kicks off at 6pm and runs until 8pm at the Bracknell Town FC grounds in Larges Lane.
