STRUGGLING families were able to celebrate Easter with chocolate eggs, thanks to the generosity of Bracknell residents.
Bracknell foodbank, which collects food donations, received dozens of eggs last week to help make Easter a special one for those in need.
Staff from the Waitrose head office even stopped by to drop off a donation of chocolate eggs.
Foodbank manager Claire Mather said: “The public have been very generous with donating Easter eggs. The eggs have been gratefully received by our clients, many of whom were worrying they wouldn’t be able to afford eggs for their children this Easter so it’s great to be able to help them out in this way.”
